All stones
shown below were illuminated with candles, natural light, or special
lighting to show their best features (color,
cell structure
and translucency). Every stone is unique and the
customer is
encouraged to experiment with
illuminating the stone and adjusting
room light to his or her personal satisfaction. For almost all cylinders a
single votive candle inside the cylinder will illuminate the entire stone.
Note to stone sculptors: You can order uncut rock up to 6-foot in diameter (by special
arrangement).

Small Boulder
Beautiful color and glowing translucency make up small Honeycomb Calcite unpolished boulder. The size is approximately 10" x 9" x 6". You can see in the photo the white out skin of the stone, that can be polished-off. A great stone for sculpting. Price $90.
Sample Slab
Slabs must be custom ordered. Minimum thickness 3/4" and can be custom cut for specific needs such as tiles. Pricing is $5 per pound + shipping for "as-cut" finish or acid washed. A polished surface finish (one or two sides) will require an extra charge depending on size of slab.

I made a trip out to the mine in December 2007 to restock my inventory of large slabs. Currenty they are unpolished. There are some small boulders in mix also. Prices range from $50 to $1,000 depending in the size and finish desired. Contact me with your custom request.
