Due to constant inventory turnover, specific Honeycomb Calcite pieces for sale
are not shown. Rather, the photos below are samples
representing the 'type' and 'style' of stones available for purchase. Category types
include: Slabs; cored-cylinders; and hand-crafted sculptures.
Cored cylinders are acid-washed to reveal surface textures and remove the white
chalky residue from cutting or core-drilling the stone.
Slabs can be either acid-washed to polished for a glass-like finish.
Please note that each stone cell pattern is unique to that piece.

All stones
shown below were illuminated with candles, natural light, or special
lighting to show their best features (color,
cell structure
and translucency). Every stone is unique and the
customer is
encouraged to experiment with
illuminating the stone and adjusting
room light to his or her personal satisfaction. For almost all cylinders a
single votive candle inside the cylinder will illuminate the entire stone.
Note to stone sculptors: You can order uncut rock up to 6-foot in diameter (by special
arrangement).

Sample Slab
Slabs must be custom ordered. Minimum thickness 3/4" and can be custom cut for specific needs such as tiles. Pricing is $5 per pound + shipping for "as-cut" finish or acid washed. A polished surface finish (one or two sides) will require an extra charge depending on size of slab.
